Audition Notice
Audition for comprimario roles for the Savannah Voice Festival/Savannah Music
Festival joint productions of Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi.
Applicants may
also be considered for future productions by the Savannah Voice Festival and
VOICExperience.
Auditions will take place at Christ Church, 28 Bull Street, Savannah, Georgia.
Wednesday, October 29, 4:00 – 7:00pm
Thursday, October 30, 10:00am – 3:00pm
If cast, singers will receive a modest per diem.
To be eligible for auditions:
- Download the audition application form and return a completed copy via email to
erin@64.91.243.21 no later than October 15, 2014. - Prepare two contrasting pieces. Judges may ask you to perform one or
both, in addition to reading an additional piece. - We are accepting singers ages 9 and up. Young adults ages 9-15 should
have working knowledge of music, including reading music. - You should be available for performances on March 20 and 22, 2015, in the
Lucas Theatre. Rehearsal attendance is also required, although we will do
our best to work with your personal schedule. - There is no cost to apply, but there is a $15 accompanist fee if using the
provided accompanist. - Auditions are first come, first served, so please apply early.
