At this point in his career, 42-year-old pianist Jeremy Denk is nearly as well-known in music circles for his writings about music as he is for his piano playing. His blog, entitled “Think Denk: the Glamorous Life of a Concert Pianist,” chronicles the hilarious and frustrating minutia of the tedious, not-so-glamorous concert life. It has been widely noticed and admired, leading to front page reviews in many leading newspapers and magazines. In this episode, we listen to a recital given by Mr. Denk at the 2013 Savannah Music Festival featuring works by Bartok, Liszt, Bach and Beethoven.
