Celebrated as one of Finland’s most outstanding pianists, Juho Pohjonen has received widespread acclaim for his profound musicianship and distinctive interpretations of a broad range of repertoire from Bach to Salonen. His studies began in 1989 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where he eventually earned his master’s degree and went on to a three-year tenure with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s prestigious Bowers Program. He has since performed at festivals and in concert halls worldwide, and enjoys frequent continued collaboration with both The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
