Acclaimed Grammy-nominated indie band Lucius has been turning heads since the start thanks to their irrepressibly catchy songs, explosive harmonies, and bold aesthetic. In 2025, the band released their fourth studio album, Lucius, which Rolling Stone called “the best album of their career.” Lucius’ most personal and purposeful album to date, which includes the song “Gold Rush” that landed on NPR’s best songs of 2025 list, explores relationships, motherhood, and life’s complexities, The New Yorker praises as reaching, “the pinnacle of a vibrant, harmonic enterprise.” Formed by Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, who met at the Berklee College of Music, the group got rolling with their 2013 debut album Wildewoman. In addition to their amazing output with Lucius, Jess and Holly are members of the recent Joni Mitchell’s Joni Jam band and have worked on recordings with John Legend, Brandi Carlile, Ozzy Osborne, Ringo Star, Harry Styles, Sheryl Crow to name a few. Their SMF debut will feature an acoustic evening of songs and stories from throughout their career.
