Frequently Asked Questions

How will I receive my tickets?
All tickets will be electronic for SMF 2021. An usher will scan your ticket on your mobile phone upon entry. If you do not have access to a phone that supports a PDF you may print your ticket at home and bring it with you to the concert.

What do I need to know about concerts in the Chamber Concert Series?
Intermissions will be extended to 30 minutes for most chamber performances instead of the normal 20 minutes. Some performances won’t have an intermission.

What do I need to know about concerts in the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden?
Intermissions will be extended to 30 minutes for concerts with a double bill to provide ample time to sanitize the stage between sets. Some performances won’t have an intermission.

Where are restrooms located?
For concerts at Trinity United Methodist Church restrooms are located in the rear of the venue and at the Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center.
For concerts at the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden restrooms are located inside the venue.

Will there be program notes?
Yes, program notes will be available physically for in-person concert attendees, and digital formats will be available on the concert’s web page.

Which concerts will be available for live streaming?
Due to limited ticket availability and to provide you with alternative ways to enjoy live music, a select number of concerts will be available to stream live. More information about live streaming will become available closer to the festival.

Where can I park my car?
For concerts at the Metal Building, parking will be available for purchase in the warehouse located on Randolph Street.
For concerts at Trinity United Methodist Church, parking is limited to city-operated garages and on-street spaces.
SMF donors and corporate sponsors at a certain level receive complimentary parking service at the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden; please call SMF Development at 912.234.3378 x106 for more information.

Where should I tell Uber or Lyft to drop me off?
Rideshare drop-off for the Metal Building is at the intersection of Barr Street and East Broughton Street.

Can I take a pedicab to the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden?
Unfortunately, pedicabs in Savannah cannot cross E. Broad Street. However, you can direct your pedicab driver to drop you off just west of E. Broad Street, and you can proceed by foot to the entrance of your choice.

Where should I enter the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden?
Ticket holders will be assigned specific arrival times and the following entry points based on seat location:
Door 1: at the main entrance into Trustees’ Garden , 660 E. Broughton Street
Door 2: Directly into the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden, 660 E. Broughton Street

Where should I enter Trinity United Methodist Church?
Ticket holders will be assigned specific arrival times and the following entry points based on seat location:
Door 1-3: At the front doors of TUMC, 127 Barnard Street. We will utilize all three doors to create three distinct entrances
Door 4: At the north side of TUMC, 225 W President Street

Can I buy food at the concerts?
No. Food sales will not be available for concerts at the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden and at Trinity United Methodist Church. Beverages will be available for purchase at concerts at the Metal Building prior to the performance and during intermission.
