What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday happens every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday provides an opportunity for people to show their support for their favorite non-profit organizations (such as Savannah Music Festival!).
What your support does:
Financial support from donors like you makes it possible for Savannah Music Festival to:
- Present artists from around the world for one-of-a-kind concert experiences
- Provide a weekly radio show (“SMF Live”) broadcast on public radio
- Give 10,000+ K–2 students in the Coastal Empire access SMF’s tuition-free music education program, Musical Explorers
- Invite 300+ high school students to compete in SMF’s Swing Central Jazz competition
- Host 16 aspiring string band musicians to learn from master clinicians through SMF’s Acoustic Music Seminar
