Savannah Music Festival LIVE - 237 - String Quintets

It was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who pioneered writing for a string quartet augmented by a second viola.  This type of string quintet is often called a "viola quintet," and features two violins, two violas and a cello.  In this episode, we listen to musicians Carlamaria Rodriguez, Philip Dukes, Benny Kim, Christopher Wu, and Keith Robinson perform works by Mozart and Felix Mendelssohn.
