Savannah Music Festival LIVE - 223 - David Finkel & Wu Han
The name Cello is an abbreviation of the Italian Violincello, often described as the closest sounding instrument to the human voice. While the Cello is a part of the standard orchestra and is the bass voice of the string quartet as well as a staple of many chamber group, there have also been a large number of concertos and sonatas written for this instrument. In this episode, we listen as David Finckel and Wu Han perform works by Bach, Beethoven, and Schumann.
