Fronted by the twin fiddles of Linzay Young and Kevin Wimmer, Louisiana's Red Stick Ramblers meld the sounds of Cajun, western swing and gypsy jazz, delivering wisely constructed, high-energy southern dancehall music. Rich vocals, intense musicality and a swinging backbeat put the Ramblers at the center of today's Cajun music renaissance, a musical style reaching its highest point in popularity since Beausoleil's heyday in the 1980s.
