BENEFIT HOUSE CONCERTS

Have you ever stood two feet away from an amazing jazz pianist and felt the sweat flying off the keys? Have you sat right in front of a country blues singer and witnessed the sanctifying power of a voice schooled in the Baptist Church of southern Texas? If you haven't, these intimate musical experiences are for you.

SMF is bringing back the long-standing tradition of the house concert: a phenomenon in which musicians perform in private homes for small but attentive paying audiences, where the connection between performer and patron is almost palpable.

New in 2011, SMF House Concerts feature handpicked performers in three distinctive Savannah-area homes. You'll never have to worry about getting a good seat!

Cost per house concert:  $200 per person (includes cocktails & hors d'oeuvres), fully tax-deductible. Limited availability. All proceeds benefit the Savannah Music Festival.

*Additional benefit: house concert attendees gain access to the SMF office for personalized ticket order assistance.
