How to participate

We are looking for young string players and vocalists (maximum age: 22) to join us for our ninth annual Acoustic Music Seminar (AMS), in residency at the Savannah Music Festival. AMS 2020 will be held from April 4 – 11, 2020. All participants receive full tuition, local ground transportation, and hotel accommodation for the duration of the program.

The deadline to apply is November 10, 2019.

In the application, you will be asked to provide the following:

Two musical submissions, both of which must include live (not multi-tracked) video and audio. You will be asked to upload audio or video. One of the submissions must be you playing with other musicians.
Questions to answer via video.
A personal statement of 250-500 words about why you want to attend AMS 2020.
Contact information for two references. At least one reference must be from a music teacher or someone who can write about your musical skill.

All application materials (including reference letter contact information) must be submitted by November 10, 2019.
