This special SMF production blends the power of southern gospel music with modern Americana and features the Shreveport, Louisiana's Zion Baptist Mass Choir, led by the spine-shaking Pastor Brady Blade, Sr. This concert will feature his sons, drummer Brian Blade (Wayne Shorter, Joni Mitchell), Brady Blade, Jr. (Steve Earle, Dave Matthews) and an all-star band of musicians including Daniel Lanois (producer of U2 and Bob Dylan), Buddy Miller (Robert Plant, Dolly Parton) and Greg Leisz (Bill Frisell, Ray LaMontagne)

This hands-in-the-air musical event will take place in the First African Baptist Church and promises to shake the northwestern portion of the historic district.
