Nicole Cabell, 2005 Winner of the BBC Singer of the World Competition in Cardiff, has become one of the most sought-after sopranos of today. Her current calendar includes engagements with the Metropolitan Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and La Scala in Milan. Her debut in Savannah includes a wealth of American Spirituals as well as compositions by John Jacob Niles, Ricky Ian Gordon and Samuel Barber.
